The Lifetime Cover Kit

Decorate a cover for a shroud or coffin. Whether you choose to work on your own for your personal legacy statement or with family and friends for a loved one, needle felting is an easy and highly creative craft.
Like my other kits, there is intention and purpose in this experience, and the process is compelling and often cathartic.
The videos guide you through this simple process in a practical way, and within minutes you can be practising on small samples. Once mastered, your ideas will flow, the colours and blends will delight. You, and perhaps your companions, will achieve quite a lot within a couple of hours, depending on the design.
Using other materials? the video focuses on needle felting, but this lovely woollen textile is ideal for appliqué and embroidery techniques as well.
You can even use coloured (Sharpie) felt tip pens, chalk pastels, graphite and charcoal (non-toxic non-aerosol fixative is recommended for the latter three).

The felt:
The felt is 100% organic/regen British wool, 5mm thick. It does not flop like woven textiles but ‘floats’, similar to leather, softening the curves.
The dyed wool tops:
A superb colour range of wools from our Devon supplier of British wools. The wool tops are measured in 10g portions

You can also order extra colours separately. Please choose the numbers from the chart and email the quantities you would like.
You can also rent extra felting pads - £25 each - and tools £17 (includes 4 needles) if you are working with family members. Full payment is required, but a refund is issued upon return. Any broken or damaged parts will be deducted from the final refund. The pad and tool included in the kit is not returnable. Please contact Yuli for more information.
